Transform · Protect · Preserve
One surface. The right strategy.
Our services are not isolated products. They are selected around substrate, condition, use and the intended result.
Transform
Design Yacht Transformation, Interior Wrapping and Custom Graphics.
Protect
SPF, Coloured SPF, solar & UV window film and Production Line Protection.
Care
Condition-led advice, care guidance, inspection and local repair.
Where damage happens — and what can be protected.
Surface wear is rarely distributed evenly across a yacht. Operation, UV exposure and daily use concentrate damage in predictable areas. Select a zone.

Our Services Overview

Surface Protection Film (SPF)
SPF is a durable, impact-resistant film originally developed for aerospace and luxury automotive applications. It protects the yacht's surface from UV, oxidation, abrasion, salt, fender impacts and micro-scratches — on gelcoat, paint, carbon, stainless steel and other surfaces. Service life depends on the specific product, position on the vessel and exposure; manufacturer specifications are assessed per project.
- UV & oxidation protection
- Impact and abrasion resistance
- Self-healing surface
- Prevents fender marks & swirl marks
- Long-term clarity and stability
- Reversible without surface damage
Temporary Protection Film
With XPEL Marine
Temporary surface protection for new build, refit, transport, assembly, storage and handover. XPEL Marine film protects paint, gelcoat, glass, stainless steel and other sensitive surfaces from scratches, dust, overspray, tools and personnel contact, then removes cleanly when the work is complete.
- New-build and refit phases
- Transport, final assembly and storage
- Cleaner handovers with less rework
- On-site application or material supply with training

Vinyl is a design-focused material used to change the appearance of a yacht without altering the original gelcoat. It offers a broad selection of colours, textures and finishes — ideal for owners who want a new look quickly and reversibly.
- Full colour changes
- Matte, satin, gloss, metallic & textured finishes
- Accents, stripes & design elements
- Interior styling
- Promotions, branding & advertising campaigns
Characteristics:
- Primarily aesthetic
- Reversible & gelcoat-safe
- Custom design options

Coloured Surface Protection Film
Paint appearance combined with protection film. Coloured surface protection film combines the depth and brilliance of a painted finish with the durability of surface protection film. Thicker and more durable than vinyl — ideal for owners who want a high-quality finish and long-term protection.
- Premium paint-like appearance
- Superior resistance vs. vinyl
- Protects the original gelcoat
- Excellent colour stability
- Fully reversible

Interior Surface Refinement
Upgrades for helm stations, cabins, consoles and interior components. OCEANSKIN Marine enhances and protects interior surfaces using technical films designed for marine and architectural environments.
- Helm & dashboard components
- Navigation consoles
- Cabinetry & wall panels
- Steps, trims and high-touch areas
- Carbon-look, matte, textured & metallic films

Branding, Decals & Uniqueness
In addition to protection and colour projects, we support brands and businesses in implementing high-quality promotion and branding campaigns on yachts and vehicles.
- Campaign wraps for yachts & vehicles
- Reversible & surface-friendly
- Quick turnaround & high visual impact
- Brand-compliant execution with high-end experience

Complementary · Window & heat control films
UV and heat control for yacht glazing
Marine window films reduce radiation load in the saloon and on the bridge: less heat gain, protected interiors, unchanged visibility. A complementary measure alongside surface protection and wrapping, specified per project.

UV blocking (UVA/UVB)*
Protects interior woods, leathers and polymers against premature fading and embrittlement.
up to 78%
Infrared filtering*
Noticeably lower solar heat gain — eases air-conditioning and generator load.
metal-free
Nano-ceramic technology
No metallic reflective layer: radar, GPS, cellular and satellite links remain unaffected.
* Manufacturer specification values from laboratory measurements of the respective material. Achievable heat reduction and energy savings depend on glass type, laminate build-up, pane inclination, surface area and yacht geometry, and are determined per project. No blanket assurance for individual projects.
Add-on service
Coatings as a complementary finish
Coatings are not a standalone headline service. We apply them per project as a complementary finish on film, gelcoat, metal or textile — matched to the chosen material system and to existing maintenance routines on board.

Solar Skin · Protection Film for Integrated PV Surfaces
We protect existing, yacht-integrated photovoltaic surfaces with suitable surface protection film. Selecting and applying the right specialist film matters so that the system can continue to operate with no significant loss of output wherever technically achievable.
OCEANSKIN Marine does not install solar panels or build PV systems. Our scope is selecting and applying suitable protection film to existing PV surfaces.
