    SURFACE PROTECTION

Where damage happens — and what can be protected.

Surface wear is rarely distributed evenly across a yacht. Operation, UV exposure and daily use concentrate damage in predictable areas. Select a zone.

    Invisible Protection

Completely transparent SPF protects without changing appearance. The invisible shield against damage.

    UV Resistance

Long-term protection against sun damage and oxidation. Prevents fading and yellowing of underlying surfaces.

    Self-Healing Technology

Light scratches disappear with heat exposure. The surface literally heals itself in sunlight or warm water.

    Protection from Mechanical Contact

The film helps protect paint or gelcoat from scratches and abrasion caused by fenders, lines and routine contact.

    Hydrophobic Properties

Water-repellent surfaces can simplify cleaning and reduce the adhesion of everyday dirt.

    The Science

    How Self-Healing Works

It's not magic – it's advanced polymer science developed for the most demanding applications.

    1

    Elastomeric Polymer Layer

The top coat contains special polymers that "flow" back into place when heated, eliminating light scratches and swirl marks.

    2

    Heat Activation

Sunlight, warm water (60°C+) or a heat gun activates the self-healing process. In Mediterranean conditions, many scratches heal automatically.

    3

    Structural Protection

Beneath the self-healing layer, a tough polyurethane core absorbs impacts and prevents stone chips from reaching the surface below.

Complementary · Window & heat control films

UV and heat control for yacht glazing

Marine window films reduce radiation load in the saloon and on the bridge: less heat gain, protected interiors, unchanged visibility. A complementary measure alongside surface protection and wrapping, specified per project.

    up to 99%

    UV blocking (UVA/UVB)*

Protects interior woods, leathers and polymers against premature fading and embrittlement.

    up to 78%

    Infrared filtering*

Noticeably lower solar heat gain — eases air-conditioning and generator load.

    metal-free

    Nano-ceramic technology

No metallic reflective layer: radar, GPS, cellular and satellite links remain unaffected.

    * Manufacturer specification values from laboratory measurements of the respective material. Achievable heat reduction and energy savings depend on glass type, laminate build-up, pane inclination, surface area and yacht geometry, and are determined per project. No blanket assurance for individual projects.
