Production Line Protection
Temporary surface protection for new builds and refits – during transport, assembly and delivery. In cooperation with XPEL.
For Shipyards & OEMs
Protection on the production line – without compromise
Scratches, dust, overspray, contact with tools or personnel: most paint damage happens in the hall, not on the water. Our temporary protection film secures hull, deck and superstructure during critical production phases.
We work with XPEL materials for temporary surface protection. Residue-free removal, dimensionally stable, compatible with painted surfaces, gelcoat, aluminium and stainless steel.
Properties
Residue-free removal
No adhesive residue on paint, gelcoat, chrome or glass.
Temporary use
Designed for production, storage and delivery periods.
Shipyard formats
Available in roll widths and thicknesses for hulls, decks and detail areas.
Benefits for shipyards
- Fewer rework and warranty claims on delivery
- Protection during transport and final assembly
- Compatible with paint, gelcoat, aluminium, stainless steel, glass
- Process-safe – predictable application and removal times
- Optional training by trained OCEANSKIN Marine applicators
Complementary · Window & heat control films
UV and heat control for yacht glazing
Marine window films reduce radiation load in the saloon and on the bridge: less heat gain, protected interiors, unchanged visibility. A complementary measure alongside surface protection and wrapping, specified per project.

UV blocking (UVA/UVB)*
Protects interior woods, leathers and polymers against premature fading and embrittlement.
up to 78%
Infrared filtering*
Noticeably lower solar heat gain — eases air-conditioning and generator load.
metal-free
Nano-ceramic technology
No metallic reflective layer: radar, GPS, cellular and satellite links remain unaffected.
* Manufacturer specification values from laboratory measurements of the respective material. Achievable heat reduction and energy savings depend on glass type, laminate build-up, pane inclination, surface area and yacht geometry, and are determined per project. No blanket assurance for individual projects.
