Process
The process at the berth: from enquiry to handover
OCEANSKIN Marine works mobile. Instead of a fixed site, the team comes to where the yacht lies — provided the marina or shipyard grants access and work permission.
1. Enquiry and inspection
Clarify yacht data, project goal and time window; then inspect on site or from meaningful imagery.
The result is a scope stating area, material, preparation and time required.
2. Approvals and logistics
Every job needs the consent of the marina, port operator or shipyard — working areas, tenting, power and time windows are agreed in advance.
We do not claim permanent presence in any harbour; access is organised per project.
3. Preparation
Cleaning, degreasing, preparing edges and terminations, removing fittings where a clean result requires it.
Critical zones are documented beforehand and agreed with the captain or project management.
4. Application and handover
Application in controlled sections, continuous quality control, then a joint handover.
Handover includes care instructions and documentation of the material used.
Does the yacht need to be hauled out?
Not necessarily. Underwater areas and certain works do require a yard position; we clarify that at inspection.
Which harbours does OCEANSKIN Marine work in?
We work mobile across Europe and worldwide on request. Which marina or shipyard is possible depends on the respective approvals — tell us your berth and we will check it.
Want to discuss a specific project?
Tell us the yacht, the goal and the berth — we assess scope, material and feasibility.
